Description

I know with 100% certainty that these are Washington apples, because they were growing on one of my neighbor's trees, and I'm quite sure I'm in Washington! Fortunately for me, they weren't home when I was there taking pictures. And no, I didn't pick any apples to take with me! I know those of you in Great Britain will be disappointed ... apparently you have a culture of stealing tree fruit or something. Sneak Factor = LOW (because the people weren't home)

Sorry, but I have to take exception to your insinuations about Brits stealing apples. I can assure you that we do no such thing. We SCRUMP them! ;) These however, are just a tad too far away and thus beyond my scrumping reach. I will have to make do with your beautifully lit and obviously delicious image.

Gorgeous Washingtons, Britain used to grow heaps of different varieties of apples and in the Supermarket stores you are lucky to see 5 varieties now and one of these regulars is the Washington Red imported. great shot Tara, dee-lish

Well they would be safe from this Brit(Englishman), I only eat green apples, and my scrumping days are over. They do look rather inviting all the same, I might just pick one for the wifes Guinea pig, she likes to nibble an apple now and again. Excellent lighting Tara, as ever, wonderful hues. Bravo!!!!!
