Description

An obvious choice to accompany the previous one. Thing is tho, i decided not to go for the extreme textured look - this one is a bit "cleaner" than the last one. Moving towards the pastel colours of a watercolour but still looking like oil painting (i hope)... Thanks for the comments on the last one it inspired me to try another one from the very limited supply of portraits of typical peruvians i have (to at least keep a theme going). As for a tutorial that skiwillgee asked for - there are a lot out on the web - just search for "photoshop tutorial oil canvas painting from photo" or some other similar search string and you will find various techniques for doing this. That's about it really, Enjoy! Rich

Really stunning. For me, I think I see more "hairiness in the hat" then seems to match the rest of the outfit but this postwork really does take on a lot of interesting character in your characters. Again, really stunning work.

Great to see a smoother version of this postwork. As always a picture is good to play a bit with it. You did great on this one realy makes me belive this is a canvas. I know you just opening more options and see what is work best. I like a yesterday "extreme" approach, on this work seems to me you hold yourself back.

Oh I love a photo that's postworked .. it shows a special kind of talent that a plain photo just can't do. I'm not knocking a great photo, untouched, at all.. but I love to add a little creativity to stuff :) and this one is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

mm yeah I do like this method better, think it really adds to a sense of the character rather than screaming about the processing 'effect' if you get my meaning... think it's just the hat but for some reason it looked like it might be well titled 'Smooth Criminal'.. very cool shot, really like this one =)
