Please forgive my absence! It's been a long time since I posted. I've felt almost crippled in my attempts at making art. I had lost interest totally. I don't know if it's the trying to stop smoking and having to relearn to do just about everything, especially sitting on the PC making art (for me anyhow) or what, but I just lost the muse. Perhaps she's in Vegas. LOL. BUT, I feel the juices going again. Perhaps my spell is done and my muse has returned. I sure hope so!
I'm also sorry that I haven't been commenting on your art. I have viewed much and ya'll are rockin the world with your artworks! I feel bad about not commenting and I hope ya'll will understand and forgive. I'll get back to commenting very soon.
I'm still working on the nonsmoking deal. Sheeesh. Not so much fun as some of you know. BUT I'll keep at it. I can now drive my car and talk on the phone and cook without smokin. LOL. And, I made this pic smoke free. Woo hoo! I'm determined to quit!
Also, I went to work for some company that kept sending me bad equipment. When you get paid by the report (I do medical transcription) and not much at that, well...let's just say, the frustration level went through the roof and I finally told them I'm not getting paid for my time to try to work on their equipment. I sent it all back, so I'm back to being unemployed and looking.
Oh yes, the image....well, one morning while walking around the base of the giant redwood in the backyard, I came upon a commotion and snapped this shot.
LOL...the background is a photo of the breathtaking giant tree. The girl, rocks, water, and creatures were done in poser and added. Didn't want ya'll thinkin I'd lost my marbles. LOL
I still have my sense of humor.

Well...first...GREAT TO HAVE YOU BACK POSTING!! (didn't mean to shout) :o) second... I for one, don't need an apology. We all go through it, muses tend to disappear for awhile and don't leave a forwarding address. As guitting smooking, as I said before, you're a better person than I. I do know the syndrome of smoking or at least letting them burn down while I compute. It's a hard one to break. But you will do it! :o) Love the image, it is magical as ever. Oh sis am I glad to see you back. I missed you and your awesome art so much. Please know we are thinking of you in this rough time and just know you have alot of friends here and everywhere you go. So good luck with the job hunt. Hope you get something soon. Can always use your art for money you know :-) And most of all, hold thumbs for stopping that smokes ok. Hugs always.

I never smoked while cooking lol but I understand about doing art though, that is when I smoke the most for some reason... and I think I would feel a bit crippled too for doing my art. And I do have to quit :) Wonderful image and composition, your photo is perfect for a fairy image :)

LOL (haven't been here that much myself over the last weeks...) I never smoked, dear but I have experienced a lot of 'quitting bad mood' and stuff and know it osn't easy and I'm with you here! Oh! Congratulations to have stopped smoking, it is a very difficult thing and you succeeded then bravo! For six months, the test which remains the most difficult for me is unmistakably the computer is more particularly to draw! Attractive work there with a magnificent integration in the photo. excellent work!

Missed you Ruby. I just wish they had that magic pill to curb the urge to smoke. It is so tough, I've tried and not succeeded. A very sweet image!

Glad you back Ruby and as for the smoking thing for some it takes a while to actual quit, so don't worry if you sneak one or two along the way. My girlfriend did and I did not, its all about getting rid of the addiction.

I tried to stop smoking million times...but never succesfull. Cross my fingers for you. My muse is left me too. maybe she is in vegas too?LOL I dont know but i have since weeks not one great inspiration.
