Description

I'm still trying to get to grips with 2D imagery in Photoshop. This one is made up from parts of free daytime images of London all merged together. I then turned it into a night-time scene, created all the lighting and then painted in the spaceships. I must say a massive thanks to all who favourited my 'Old Place By The Lake' render as it got me to number 6 in the Art Charts a few weeks back. As always, any comments on this one will be most welcome. I will get around to returning all my comments but please bear with me as it takes time to comment on over 200 galleries ... but believe me it is a pleasure to view so many fine pieces of artwork. Ohh this is perfection Tone! Love the dramatic and doomed atmosphere this portrays. This is outstanding! Congrats again on the art chart rating! By the way, don't feel you have to comment on my art. I would rather know that you were working on your art, learning new things than commenting on my stuff. Sometimes the more the favorite artists lists grow the harder it becomes to keep up and then you are over your head. If we are here to learn a craft, learn more about art, we have to have the time to do it. Not only that, people who love your work won't mind if you don't comment theirs. And a lot of us post simply because it makes us feel great to have created something awesome! ;) Lea

Excellent work. Tony. I like the way you have merged the pics of the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and the bridge crossing the River Thames...which I might add has wonderful movement. The space ships add the perfect 'invasion' look to the render.
