9 days ago my aunt left us to take her final trip and it felt like the most special rose of the garden had been ripped out and suddenly everything around just perished. No more colors, no more sounds... just that empty feeling of a big loss. I know that in time the garden will blossom again and life will take its course... but there will never be another rose like her again... and the garden will never be the same.
Goodbye aunt Dane (Helaine).. I love you now and I will love you always...

Aunt Dane, is truly irreplacable Ilona, but so too are the memories you cherish of her so fondly. Oh My ! I am so sorry for your loss ilona. It is very hard to go through such a loss. I do know what you are going through as I have lost two Uncles recently and it certainly does leave a hole. I saw my only remaining Aunt when I was in NH. and I came away feeling as if I had been blessed with seeing my mother, and that whole generation on my Mother's side. I realized how very important it is to have family of my Mom's and Father's generation and how very hard it is going to be when my Aunt Nancy passes away. Still, I do know that I carry those that I have lost in my heart and in the being that I am. Still it is very hard to not actually be able to see them. Your loss is so recent that I can imagine how deep the grief is and how sad and depressed you are. Fortunately with time, that hole heals. I am so glad that you have shared this with us. Reaching out is so very important at a time like this. We love you and hold you tenderly in our hearts as you go through this. Big hugs my friend. I am so sad for you. HUGS & KISSES
