9 days ago my aunt left us to take her final trip and it felt like the most special rose of the garden had been ripped out and suddenly everything around just perished. No more colors, no more sounds... just that empty feeling of a big loss. I know that in time the garden will blossom again and life will take its course... but there will never be another rose like her again... and the garden will never be the same. Goodbye aunt Dane (Helaine).. I love you now and I will love you always... "exorcising my darkness" is an interesting but accurate way of putting it, also something I have yet to do,....almost three years after losing two brothers within a month of each other. The pain will ease with time, but you are right in stating that the garden will never be the same. Change is never looked forward to fondly, but the ironic thing in life is, that the only constant....will be change. No need for apologies, I'm glad you could express yourself, much healthier than just stuffing everything down inside. This is a great tribute! Thank you much for sharing....and for helping me to realize that I have unattended issues to deal with yet.

Sweetheart, never EVER apologize for letting your art take the hurt from your soul...that is what art is supposed to do. Your dear sweet aunt is looking down at you from her golden place and she is so proud and so happy that such a talent as yours was used to create such a loving dedication to her. You know something? Before I ever even read the words below your post, I made this a Favorite, and I said it spoke to my soul...and it did. This is the purest form of art....Art born of emotion. The hurt will fade my friend...I promise you that. But believe me when I say that this image will reside on my desktop for a long, long time....as testament of the Power of Love {{{{{Hugs}}}}

you have the power of make the roses bloom again... not that rose in the material world, but yes in your soul that actually is a garden... all what I can say is that we love you and always will be there for you. You already knew that but is good to say it again :) No one of us is safe from this kind of pains... life must go on. Love you a lot, sister :)
