Description

Morning all :o) This is Jeff (jeffG7BRJ) stood against a Chinese steam engine .It was ,in Jeff`s defense a monster ,absolutely huge in comparison to engines built in UK .I`m sure Jeff wont mind me putting this up ,even though I did`nt get him to sign a model release form lol :o). I am way behind again as i`ve been busy the last couple of days .I have been looking though ,just have`nt had time to comment .I will try and get caught up today :o) Thanks for looking and take care Mick

Great capture Mick, it makes you realise just how big those old trains were, especially as we have Jeff as a comparison. Tony.

Fantastic shot. A big think made by small peoples. Excellent idea to present the difference between Jeff and this old train :)

Nice shot of Jeff, Mick. With wheels that large, the engine must really be a beast!

Mick didn't mention but I was five foot six, small I know but I was/am the tallest and youngest of a family of seven, I had two brothers(one has died) and four sisters. I have shrunk slightly, one disk in my back is badly dehydrated but I don't think that is the full half an inch that I have shrunk. I am not as bald as I look here, I did have my hair cut by my wife the day before this was taken. She is no hair dresser so I give her the shears without a guard and just tell her to get with it. I also think that I look slightly aneamic here, I'll blame that on Mick. I didn't sign a model release her and as yet I haven't been paid any monies. I will take my experience and pleasure of Mick's and Alans company as payment in kind. I had a great time if somewhat painful at times, really enjoyed every minute, just sorry the weather wasn't up to scratch. Excellent capture Mick. Bravo!!!!! Just like to point out my youngest son is six foot four.

This engine was a giant and even from this it is difficult to judge how huge it really was. A good clear shot Mick considering the light and exposure. The monopod looks pretty useful I will have to consider getting one. My two shots here were very blurred, not the wheels but Jeff moved cracking a joke!, and he looked like a moving ghost on my shots lol.
