Description

Hello all :o) This is how I feel today as things just go from bad to worse.First the airline we were flying to America with next march has gone bust with my son having the biggest investment in this holiday with £6,500 .He paid early and now we will have to wait and see .Second the house building situation has all but come to an end .I have been on the phone most of the morning expressing my concerns as there are only 5 families left and we are living in a rubbish dump .I wake up on a morning to find that through the night someone else has got rid of their fridge or cooker in the gardens of the empty houses .Someone even dumped an old smashed up caravan in the road .As usual the council will look into it but I wont hold my breath . I have nearly caught everyone up so thanks for looking and take care Mick

A perfect image to portray how you feel, Mick! However even this prickly customer contains the seeds of new life, so lets hope it's the same for your appalling situation. I hope the other familes in the same boat are nice people, you can get a bit of comfort from 'trench' friendship.

So sorry to hear the news of the airline and hopefully another will hop in and make things right knowing this is their chance to shine and win customers. It is horrible to hear of people dumping rubbish in your area and I hope they can get it under control soon.

I love this shot. Fabulous texture, and the light shows it off perfectly. Take good care, my dear. The only way through is to take it one day at a time, and if that's too much, just do it minute by minute. Sending big hugs . . .

Sorry to hear about the airline Mick, I hope you can get sorted out OK, one of our local hotels went into receivership a couple of weeks back and several weddings were due to have the reception there, one so far managed to get into the Town Hall, the others haven't had any luck yet. I just hope and pray your son doesn't lose all his money. It is something that is happening more and more just lately. I feel for you as well mate, the housing situation is ridiculous, its just dragging on and on. I must say though the image you have uploaded does match the way you must be feeling, I just wish there was something I could do to help. Excellent macro.

Life just throws you one thing after another, doesn't it? Yet you still find beauty in the simplest things--and there's hope in that. Know we're all thinking of you and sending hugs and good thoughts that all will be well.

I don't know what to say Mick! I heard on TV that XL had gone into liquidation (I don't know if that is the airline company in question) and the house situation and everything else, I just can't imagine mate. The image sums it all up!

Mick, how very horrid it all sounds. I worry about advance airline tickets for the same reason and I need to book an early flight very soon. As for the living situation, I already wrote and told you how I felt about that. Seems as if it all comes crashing down at once, but you know it will all work out in the end. Somehow it always does. This shot is very good and it certainly conveys your feelings well.

I'm sorry I missed this yesterday, Mick, and sorry to hear of your recent events! I can't blame you for feeling this way, but as Andrea so eloquently said, there are always the seeds of hope somewhere. I hope you and your son will be able to recover some investment and that your housing situation will improve. Wishing for you and yours that silver lining in the clouds. Take care!
