Description


During our travel in Thailand, we visited the MaeTaeng Elephant Park, 50km (31 miles) North of Chiang Mai, in the North of this country. Some 50 elephants are living there. I have already shown you two images of these elephants really painting (see links below), of course after a long period of training. But these elephants are also taking tourists for a very nice walk, thanks to a seat fixed on their backs. After the trip, the animals are thanked with a bath in the Maetaeng river. Lors de notre voyage en Thaïlande, nous avons visité le Parc des Eléphants de MaeTaeng, à 50km au Nord de Chiang Maï, dans le nord du pays. Ce parc abrite une cinquantaine d’éléphants. Je vous ai déjà présenté deux images ayant trait aux éléphants-peintres (liens ci-dessous). Cette activité fait évidemment suite à un long dressage. Ces éléphants sont aussi, pour les touristes, l’occasion de faire une très belle promenade dans une nacelle aménagée sur leur dos. Encore une fois une tres belle lumiere qui met en valeur les remous dans cette eau qui a l'air a la fois boueuse et attirante. J'aime bien le cercle que forment ces 5 elephants. Je pense que tu as du en profiter pour faire plusieurs prises de vues et notamment quelques gros plans.
