Description
Charcoal on 11 x 14 Bristol Vellum
This is more practice, this tim, using charcoal.
I was struggling with the use of charcoal and blending, until a new found friend who uses it often and very well, shared some of his techniques.
I'm looking forward to seeing what more I can create with this seductive medmium
For some reason the thumbnail doesn't want to play nice :)

What a strength of expression… Truly fantastic emotion in this artwork! The light and shadow work is pure enchantment. When I look back in your so original art gallery, I see that you have made stunning progress in short time. BUT, if you do continue in this way, we visitors will meet with more and more surprises! Because since some tie it is truly top-notch art! It is a pity that so few RR members are interested by the 2D gallery which allows often such wonderful talents.

Ah, I also have tried out charcoal recently and yes that is not easy, but very intesting. I like how you worked on the shading etc. in this (for me) difficult medium. I was told to use bigger papers for carcoal.. so I will prob try sometime soon again. Take care
