Description

Whilst strolling through the woodlands the other day communing with Mother Nature on a variety of levels, I happen to stumble upon a stunning vine bearing wild grapes, locally A.K.A. muscadine vine or muscadine grapes. Although they were too young to consume or take along home to make some homemade muscadine wine (a staple of the rural South), they were nevertheless a beautiful sight to see. Having with me my trusty Canon Powershot S5IS (the BEST "little" camera in the world), I was sort of able to bring some home with me anyway. So I decided to share! Thanks for stopping by! marshall

Wish we had those growing wild around here, I love grapes! Great picture, and those grapes are a study in sub-surface scattering of light. :-)

Such perfect globular spheres. The late afternoon light really enhances their form. Maybe we should cultivate them. :)
