BIO
This site is a collaboration between myself and Alexander Graham. Alex is someone who answered my call from a place, though far away, so close to my heart, and we work together towards the same goals with a shared vision of a better world, not just for a chosen few, but for everyone, everywhere. And we work for an understanding that there are other points of view and other opinions, and that open debate, along with all the other principles America was founded on, is what turns that diversity of perspective and prejudice into a strength instead of a weakness. That is what our work is devoted to: a better world for our children's children's children.Thank you for taking the time to visit.. Alexander and Lynn

I love Pikes we are going to drive up there soon to take my mother in law who has never been. I love crab all types .Dungeness crab is the best for less work but to a crab lover like me the small ones are still worth the fight ;)Cool shot Lynn

Great shot, Lynn. Looks yummie... i love seafood... I always used a nut-cracker to get the meat out of the shells. I schocked quite a lot of waiter's through the years... When i pulled up a nut-cracker from my pocket..haha.. But it is very efficient..+5

Nothing quite like the fresh Dungeness from Pike Place... haven't had them lately, though my sister and her husband have been crabbing quite a lot this summer and passing the largesse on to me. I don't know if they're the same type, but they're huge and they taste great anyway. Great, now I'm hungry, darn you! :)

Mmmmmm...crab! I love crab, all crab. Though I have to say that Dungeness is one of my least favorite - easier to pick, but not nearly as sweet as blue crab. This looks like stone claw crab, but I'm not sure - never actually saw one before as in this area you're not allowed to fish for them - you're allowed to remove the claws, but have to return the crab to the water so it can re-grow the claws. The claws are great, though! In fact, SNOW crab claw is both easy to pick AND is sweet! :-)
