Hi there. First I like to thank you for the many comments and ratings on my last image "Mirror, mirror ..."

The little larva on the picture below is not a butterfly or a moth. I like to give you a riddle - let´s see, who get the right idea. The larva is about 5cm long. I found her in the summer on a leaf of a white beech. Try to fed her at home, but she doesn´t like the leafs I reap for her. After two day´s I brought her back in the wood on the tree I found her - she immediately began to eat. Best view in full size. Have all a nice day.
