Description
This is a dollie that no one wanted...
Actually she was first draft of a consigned character...
So this was a rejected dollie---she's wearing Amy's (rebelmommy's) gorgeous Aubry texture---Nasha hair from DAZ, I think...I don't know---I've been up all night watching the Weather channel and Hurricane Ike.
OK, I have a question---because inquiring minds HAVE to know...they were reporting that people were in their attics and on their roofs to be rescued. What part of a "BIG ASS STORM IS COMING TO EAT YOU" did these people not get? They had days to get out of town...I just don't get it.
Anyway--- a very good friend of mine lives right down near Galveston, and she evacuated yesterday.
What a mess it is. Been watching the weather dudes dodge debris and stand there looking rather wet, wind blown & annoyed all night...

wow her eyes are... fantastic - so expressive and i love the softness of her lips, the calm colour (also i would prefer other color then rose - but i ist not one of my fav colours - and so it is only my opinion an has nothing to do with the picture :-) only wanted to mention it) - so that her eyes where accented :-) also i love green eyes and so.. very great picture :) about the hurricane: i wasnt in the situation before, so i coultn say what i would do shure - but i think, it is better to went away and survive, than to stay and do not only loose your whole stuff if its going bad... yesterday is saw a man in tv at the news, who said, he has a gun, he would defend his home, with a gun he would be safe... maybe a gun will defend when other people come to loot ore something, but how would a gun safe when a hurricane come? phuw... i think i'm writing too much today, sorry.

A gorgeous character ! Sometimes people just can't take decisions, even if their life is the bet. Some kind of "I don't believe it anyhow". I've been surprised myself by my own reactions. Just can't explain this no-way-out state of mind...

I think this character is fantastic. She has the most beautiful eyes and eyelashes. I think she fit the description perfectly. Love those lovely lips too. As for the question about why people stay... I heard a talk show host discuss this. He said that what happens is that they've been through this before. They get a warning, leave town and find out it was a 'false alarm' and not much happened. So it's like the boy who cried wolf. After a time, they begin to think this is probably the news media blowing things out of proportion again so I'm going stay and ride this out. The problem occurs when it really is a bad storm and they suddenly find themselves stuck in a bad situation. I live in an area where we don't get hurricanes - Atlanta. And then one came through - it only happens like in a 100 years. Did I park my car in the garage. Nope. I didn't think it was going to be any worse than a bad thunderstorm. And, of course, a tree fell on my car. :) Ah well, live and learn. Some people just learn the hard way.

I really like your character. I would like to have this character. I think the eye lashes are too dark though. Now, I have lots of friends in Houston that stayed. I also went thru several hurricanes myself, so I know what they are thinking. I would have stayed thru Ike also. You know what to do, where to go, and so on. If you are in a flood zone, leave. You know, use some sence. My friends survived just fine, just like the tv reporters. they have there generator, food and water. I agree with scifibabe on the news media also.

My brother-in-law in Houston says that you can shelter from the wind, but don't mess with water. he's inland, though, in a brick house and a side-by-side full of beer;-) This lady is beautiful, she looks luminous, and her lips are gorgeous, I love that pale pink! I'm awfully excited about the next LOTN set!

well, i don't know what this guy was looking for, but your dolly is really beautiful :) love her eyes!! as far as those that stayed behind after being asked to leave and warned that their life would be in jeopardy: i think they are the most selfish, self-centered jerks around...they probably said to themselves "oh, we'll stay and if it really gets bad we can call to be rescued" i think they all should be fined: i think 1,000 hours of community service would be appropriate...their rescues cost tax payer money, but these social parasites are too intellectually shallow to realize this, and, if they do, they just don't care...
