I guess he was better off in the basket than on the ground in the busy market but I'm sure he would rather have been on the beach.

Well spotted, Rozanne. Ah.. sunshine... I remember it well.. Perhaps not quite what we would call a 'doggy bag', but I believe I did see something similar at a very well turned out wedding party leaving a church in Fuengirola, in the Costa del Sol, a couple of years ago. The guest carried her wee dog in the same manner. Many of the guests had a bottle of water in their hand, although two wee boys had obviously managed to sneak in a couple of ice lollies, from the stall outside ... ;o) Damp regards from Glasgow, John.
