Hello together,
Since 2 days I´m now working on a new plugin that can help create cobblestones and (hopefully) later walls, too. The plugin has not many options at the moment, but I think the result looks nice already. C&C is always welcome. If you already know plugins doing the same, please let me know. Hope you like it, thanks for viewing.

That looks fantastic... I suppose it's a plugin for lightwave though? Nice realism.

the light in your images is always so gentle. the result looks beautiful already. i love the variation of the stone materials, and how natural all the wear looks. i don't use lightwave, and i'm not even vaguely in the same league as you, but to me some of the cobblestones look like they might too square vertically. i think they might be a little bit more realistic if the shift from sides to top was a little softer.

That looks like one heck of a powerful plugin you're working on. I couldn't create something like that even if you gave me a shovel, stones and a backyard to work on with my bare hands. Beautiful stuff! :o)

thank you all very much for your feedback. @ foleypro & e-brink : At this moment, the plugin is only for lw. @ cobaltdreams: Thank you, critic is always welcome:) I will keep it in mind for the next image. @ Sparrownightmare: Yes, the grass wil also be set between the stones by the plugin. I hope to finish the first basic version of the plugin till end of the week or next week. @ Moebius: Thank you my friend.

I think the grass does look realistic as far as it goes. On the cobblestones in my actual patio, they tend to spread out over the edges onto the surface of the stones a bit and to lay much more flat. I'd really like to see a stand alone version that could convert to wavefront obj and .3ds formats as well as LW. If you get to the walls part of the program, consider some ivy to spread over it.

Great work! I guess you're automating your procedure you discussed somewhere else (I forget where). Looks great. I'm currently trying to use that procedure to make a wall. Very nice job!!
