Description

A further exploration of the possibilities now available with more ram, using various models including my ship from two previous posts. This time,I wanted to portray it in a realistic natural setting,as though it was a visitor to our world from it's own...on a lay-over in it's journey. The ship was created from Bryce prims, with two preset textures, one combined with a texture from 3D Total Textures. The trees are arboro tree#2 from jrcejaspulido. The water plants are from Lisa's Botanicals Pondlife, the butterflies by Noggins, the dragonfly from Daz Animals...all from Daz3D(the butterflies and dragonfly posed in DazStudio).Rendered in Premium with soft shadows selected. Thanks for viewing and comments!

Great ship, but the scene deserves praise. Very good image.

This is a good image and a very nice approach. However, it seems to have a problem in scale - unless the rushes and lily-pads are enormously large or the ship is very small: the ship is too close to the viewer to be so small. Otherwise, great.

More ram is always good :)) Cool modeling on the ship, and the enviroment is fabulous. I really like how you've done this, it does look like a visitor from another world. Did I mention the crop? that rocks too. Sweet render for sure!!

Wonderful composition, quality of light, and content. The ship has a Nautilus feel to it in this setting, both from the shape and the textures.
