Description

A few dats ago when I posted the Moorhens shot Bunny said she would love to see the chicks. So when I saw this group yesterday I though I would put them on for her. Mum was scratching in the soft earth, as soon as she took a step back the multi coloured chicks dived in. Their father was snoozing in the sun. When they came so close to disturb his Sunday afternoon nap, he jumped up to join in like the dinner gong had been struck! Now I look at the title I keep thinking of the KFC adverts.

Oh no...KFC....a dirty word in my house Kevin. It is a delightful pic. Father seems quite happy to peck away with his young ones. Aren't the colours gorgeous?
