Hi - thanks for looking. YANCS (yet another character sketch)
Working on something for a larger piece again.
DAZ|Studio render - minimal postwork in PS.
Character is DAZ Victoria 4, default high res textures. Morphs are DM's Luciana. Pose from DM's Land of Sorrow with some tweaks.
Hair is Daryl Hairstyle from DAZ and outfit is Omega Hunter also from DAZ. Used the PWSurface settings that come with the product - which are a good place to start but there is a lot of unnecessary translucence and some reflection combined with displacement that did lead to some crashing but was subsequently straightened out.
Background is Stonemason's "Ministry" out of the box. Lighting is Dreamlight basic studio lightset, the 'cool' reversed version.
Gunsmoke was done using Ron's Smoke available here. I created a 1024 x 1024 black bitmap and painted on the white smoke. Then I created a plane in the scene, made it gray/white and applied my texture in the opacity channel.
Postwork was nothign special - some 'levels' some 'hue/saturation' and titles.

Great light and from this close/that big you can really appreciate the fine details of the outfit. The lil' puff o' smoke is a nice touch, too.

great drama and presence! i love the skin. i came across a photo recently, and the woman's skin was similarly pale and "sallow," and had very little red. this is an excellent example of that type of skin. the light is very dramatic, and i think the blurred reflection in the background is a nice touch.
