Description

Hi there, dear friends and visitors. Like promised yesterday - today the male Gonepteryx rhamni. The shot is not as clear as the female one, because of the males are more hectic as the females are. I try my best to get a clear shot - but the POV was as perfect as possible. Hope you lkike this one to (best in full-size) - thanks for stopping by and view, comment and rate my images.

The sex of this butterfly you can see in his colour - the females wings are more light green and the males wings are more yellow. That´s why, they called "Zitronenfalter" (Lemon Butterfly) in german.
