Description


This is the base of a tree below the bridge at Deception Pass in Washington. It looked for all the world like the foot of some creature I did NOT want to meet, so I just snapped this shot and kept on walking!!

Oh, come on Marilyn, with a little extra effort you could have snuggled up real close to the beast and, risking a crick in the neck and/or falling over backwards, taken a shot looking straight up at its top. Anyway, splendid textures in this capture!
