Description

These wind turbine are mostly located along interstate 580 going north to sacramento ca.I took this picture last sunday on our way to sacramento, this view is so impressive.Hope you like this pic. Wind turbines are mounted on a tower to capture the most energy. At 100 feet(30 meters) or more above ground, they can take advantage of faster and less turbulent wind. wind turbines can be used to produce electricity for a single home or building,or they can be connected to an electricity grid for more widespread electricity distribution. Thanks for looking and comment...hugs everyone minda

It's high time (no pun intended) that we see many more of these across the continent. Such initiative and more electric motive power (electric cars, trams, etc.) would finally break the fossil fuel era once and for all.

Original composition and a nice documentary picture. In my country, these windmills have recently been the object of hard discussions, but I guess that some advocates in favor of "all nuclear energy" have put a lot of bad faith to push against windmills, saying that this ruins the environment.

Great shot Minda! These wind turbines and other forms of non-polluting energy solutions are what we need in this country.

Minda, did you ever see the turbines from I-10? They're somewhere between LA and Arizona line. And there are lots of 'em! Actually I never seen before so many! Great shot, congrats!*****
