Description

Old Fishing Boat Wrecks 5 Hope I am not boring you all with the same subject but I think these wrecks really made some great images. I shot this inside the remains of an old wooden hull that was about all that was left of one wreck. Maybe I will put up one more then I am off for a weeks holiday to Scotland

Lotus253 asked where these shots were taken. They were taken near Fleetwood in Lancashire. There are about 10 different wrecks there in all forms of decay..some are barley more than bits of hull but a lot of good samples to photograph. We will be going back there as on the last shoot the light got poor.It is a bit of a difficult place to find unless you know the area so if any one wants the exact location and directions just email me. There is another location a few miles down the road with old rotting jetty's...worth a visit. Eddie

Very powerful composition!! It would be really interesting to see what one of your pics looks like before you do whatever you do to it. If it's HDR than you are an excellent exponent: a lot of that stuff looks terrible to my eyes, like pre war hand coloured postcards, or like amateur oil paintings. Anyway, this is a superb series, thankyou for sharing it with us!

this series is really good. i think: you made the best of it! normaly i would say these would be best in blackAndWhite, but the way You treat the colors is excellent.

These exposed ribs are fabulous and the composition is well done to continue the eye through the body of the primary boat to the ones in the rear.
