Description

Yesterday it was in the 30's overnight and when I got up it was only in the 50's. I guess it was cold enough overnight to make this wasp (Vespula vulgaris) sluggish because I even moved the leaf he was on and he just sat there! One more insect tomorrow that did the same. I feel pretty good about this shot, think I am getting better:-)Please zoom! Thanks for looking and for previous comments and favs!!!

Great macro, Lynn. Love the colouring on this. A wasp can be a painful experience.:) I got stung many times. Alwayas gave me a lower arm like Popeye.#;oD They are about to die this time of year... They are usually aggressive because of food lack in september.+5
