Description

Taken yesterday morning...The telltale V-formation of a flock of geese leaving Canada for the winter. I zoomed 8x to capture this and I boosted the contrast for better visibility. To me this is another sign of an early winter and I have watched this since mid August. The squirrels are very busy burying their nuts for winter and have been since early August. Thanks for looking and for previous comments!

Excellent shot! You may notice the over abundance of nuts for the squirrels to indicate a long winter too. I like to be distracted by the sounds of the high flying geese. A part of working outside in the fall away from the hustle and bustle of the town/city. Fun to look for the source and try and count the flock. Well done

You know, a lot of people, including photographers with telephoto lenses would just dismiss that as too far away. But this was a shot worth doing. The distance gives a real sense of hight and works great. Well done, Lynn. Love those stormy looking clouds too. It really makes you see why they're heading South!
