Description

This image started as a test render with Pauline and the "Hidden Winds" Shawl and new materials by Fabiana. I immediatly fell for this transparent, black material with the slight glitter on it and decided to do a large render with my test. The result reminded me a lot on vintage pinups and on old photos in the showcases of stripbars that you can see in old crime movies like those by Juergen Roland (I'm not sure if people outside Germany know them - but in the 60s they where kind of scandalous). Then I remembered how I saw one of these movies (I think it was "Polizeirevier Davidswache"). He was very interested in how Germany looks when his Mom was a little girl. And then came a scene with a striptease club, a half-nude dancer dropped her skirt and suddenly he said: "Mom, did all women look this way when you where a child?". I looked closely and saw an average woman with average breasts (not pumped up and round like apples) and with a tummy instead of a sixpack. This was the start of a longer discussion and in fact it was the start of the shape I use to give my girls. Of course they are idealised, at least they are models, artificial or not. But yes, I am fed up with breast that do not even move when the girl is jumping and arms, either thin as twigs or equipped with muscles like you would espect them on a boy. And I am alarmed that the young ones think that gravity is nothing that effects a human body! This is dedicated to Fabiana, as a thank you for making this wonderfull and versatile set of clothes - there are more old-fashioned girls to come as (at least to me) these dynamic clothes are so retro!! Technical: Hidden Winds shawl with Sedale Silk materials, both by Fabiana (FK-Design) and available at 3dcommune. Some postwork to add highlights to the hair and to create the background. The circles for the back are from the "Retro" brush set by dp - very cool!!
