Description
This is Mobile Bay in the late afternoon as shot from Fairhope, Alabama. Fairhope is a true treasure; a unique step back to yesterday. No fast food. No Wal-Mart. Such a beautiful quaint picturesque little town.
It's located on the eastern side of the massive Mobile Bay, and has a large beautiful pier and marina, part of which is pictured here.
The name escapes me at the moment, but out on this boardwalk/pier, as is pictured here, there is a small restaurant. I've always wanted to go there and have breakfast at sunrise, literally over the bay. Even though I've visited there numerous times, and once upon a time actually lived just a few miles down the road, I've yet to experience omlettes and sunrise there.
But one day, I am confident, I will do so. Until then this photograph exists to remind me to experience such a delight.
Thanks for stopping by,
marshall

Beautiful ... while you're having your omlette, I'll go out and sit at the end of the pier. It looks like too nice a morning to be indoors.
