Description

Ode to Summer:-) Temps dipped into the 30's night before last, Friday morning when I woke it was 38 degrees, brrrrrr!!! But daytime we are still mid 70's and sunny. At any rate, we can say goodbye to summer, fall is definitely here and winter according to the animals behavior very soon behind. Tho these are pests, the seeds of this dandelion represent two things to me, the end of summer and as they are carried on the wind to sleep thru the winter, the rebirth of spring. Hoping everyone had a great summer! Please zoom! Thanks for looking and for previous comments and favs!

Even in Sicily, the temperature is lowered and it's raining... Autumn is my favorite season... the air is sweet and yet there isn't very cold! Wonderful photo!!! :)

Great macro there, Lynn. Pretty cold in Denmark too atm. 40 at night, 60 at day or so. The plant on the picture seems ready to breed though.. It has to make ready for next spring :)+5
