When I found these fungi in the grass by the sidewalk the first thing that came to mind was pancakes:-) Thus the title...I searched more than 60 pages on google but never found any fungi that was identical so type is unknown. Please zoom! Thanks for looking and for previous comments and favs!

A great find and an excellent pic! Without research I think they could be in the Russula family, which could give you a starting point.
