I am Native American (Blackfeet, Cree, Choctaw and Cherokee). I've been an amateur photographer since I was 10 when my dad bought me my first camera, a German Zeiss Ikon 35mm. I take pictures of pretty much anything and everything that catches my eye. I don't use any high end photo editing software. I use Picasa and occasionally web based photo editing sites. I do the best I can with what I have. I usually just let my photos speak for themselves. I ride motorcycles with my soulmate of over 40 years and take pictures "on the fly" from the passenger seat. Thanks for stopping by my little corner of Renderosity.

We rode all the way from Bridgeport to Waterloo.....not even stopping when it started raining......the conditions for my ancestors were much worse....rain was a minor inconvenience.

I don't know why, but they haven't had the corn festival (pow wow) here in awhile. I think maybe it was moved further north this year. I always took my grand daughter to see the dancing contests. I would very much like to go to this one. Great shot that brings it home for me.

Fantastic shot! I love the sense of "being there" you've presented! For me, it's even better to see this, since I'm so incredibly far away from home soil. (I'll be returning Stateside soon, but only for a few months before jumping on another plane BACK overseas!) Anyway, my ramble aside, this is an excellent piece of work.
