To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.

mina, you've painted with photography & your own exquisite hand...the branches sweeping like a loving curtain we can go through, your autumn colors dappling & gushing like thought strewn across the landscape, and that beautiful bayou-like body of water with branches brushing it or bowing to it, depending on how you see it...and your goddess stands holding fall-fruits, next to a mysterious cat (who's holding mysteries) and your usual spirits flying upwards...only here, you've let nature do most of the talking, as it does so well in Autumn. It's a beautiful, caressing vision inviting everyone to sit inside it & bask in its flaming glories. Another beauty from you, and for the season...

Lovely work. Not sure what she is cooking up in her pot but I think it is making all the leaves fall off the tree behind her and turn color. Love the cat also! It is obvious (he thinks) that he is the center of the picture. Being magnanimous he allowed the girl be in the scene next to him. 10+
