To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.
Brightest Blessings to you all!
Heather
 Mina's daughter
Thanks to all for stopping by and hope you enjoy your visit.

"I get out my work and have a show for myself before I have it publicly.
I make up my own mind about how good or bad or indifferent it is.
After that the critics can write what they please.
I have already settled it for myself so flattery
and criticism go down the same drain and I am quite free.

I love how your tree becomes deep veins in this dreaming soul...and how you have a fine grain throughout as if seeing it through the particles of the cosmos. And I love the small lines on the right, or the ovum-like shape on the left. As in all your images, it has hidden presences that take us in, over several viewings. And there's this subtle pale rose-hue amidst your deep & reflective greens. it's a reflective inner-psyche piece, but still with your sense of play and cosmic mystery. Strange, magical and (as always) beautiful. (Question: Will I be the first comment this time? Tick tock tick tock...ok here goes...)
