Description
One of my favorite places down here is the Santa Ana River Jetty. The poor river has been tamed, caged, cemented, and controlled as much as it can be. But here, it finally gets to let loose as it flows into the ocean. This gull and I shared the view for a while, till he flew off for other business. I just sat there, letting the sparkle of the water and the breeze tickle my senses. Something happens to me when I get here, and I just let the feeling take me over.
Oh, this is also a great surfing spot, though the waves today weren't all that good. Doesn't matter, there are always surfers doing what they love best.

GREAT SHOT. I MISS THE WATER AND THE BEACH. I MOVER TO LAS VEGAS AND THERE IS NO WATER AL ALL. IT RAINS A FEW TIMES A YEAR THAT IT IS A SPECIAL DAY TO ME WHEN IT DOES. I EVEN MISS THOSE PESKY SEA GULLS THAT USED TO BOTHER ME SO MUCH. THANKS FOR JOGGING MY MEMORY.
