Description
While visiting Lake Tahoe, I enjoyed breakfast one morning at the American River Cafe - located in the basement of one of the hotel casinos (just can't recall whether it was Harrah's or another). Anyway, I was real impressed with the decor - an actual "river," real rocks, live plants and even trees growing through the "ceiling." There was a mural on the ceiling to resemble the sky. Really cool atmosphere!

I nearly fell over! I sat right next to this lovely waterfall and had dinner one night. :-) I also thought the decor was simply incredible. The little river runs right through the restaruant. I had the steak dinner BTW. :-) Glad you had a nice time in Tahoe. Wonderful shot.

Marvelous! We occasionally go to the casinos to eat, but not often. There are many fine restaurants in the area, and if one clips coupons, buy one-get one many times. I agree this atmosphere is awesome.
