Description

This is for the "Size doesn't matter" contest over at Digital Down Under. It is inspired by the animated film "The Iron Giant", I really like that movie. I was trying to convey the idea that the size of an individual doesn't always reflect the size of ones heart. Sometimes the most trusting, loving and courageous indiviuals can come in the smallest of packages. Background was done in Vue 6, the flowerchild was a base model done in Poser 7 with her hair and clothes done in PS and the iron giant was drawn from scratch with some movie stills as references, done in Photoshop CS2. I had alot of fun doing this peace, thanks for looking and hope you like it. P.S. Please check it out in full view if you have the time, in the way it was intended to be seen :)

I think the silhouette creates a much greater impression of size, than a comparitively clear view. I know this must have taken you ages and I congratulate you on all your hard work. Well done! Steve :o)

This is great. Iron Giant is one of my favorite animated movies, and you've definately captured it's flavor with this image. Nice work.

Nice visualization of the Giant. I could see this as a scene from a hypothetical sequel, as the finally-reassembled Giant makes his was southward once more.
