Beautiful capture. These drops look as if they are using the aloe as their own personal slide. They need to be careful of the sharp barbs on the sides. A bit like life really.

I know I'm back in pre-history with this upload (September of 2008), but I wanted to see some of your earlier work, and this is one of many that popped out at me. I can feel your 2D background in this (as I can in a number of your photographs) because of how the photo moves into not only graphic design territory, but into painting itself. You've zeroed in on the plant until we see a whole jungle in there, and a beautiful play of droplets on huge surfaces, and those wonderful jagged-edges like big saw-blades. You've got touches of purple in here as well, and some very deep shadows, as well as peeks into the worlds behind...This is very powerful, Brigitte, and very graphic, and very suggestive. Superb photographic work all around.
