You might spot me at Kirra Beach, the South-Eastern end of the Gold Coast, Australia, if you like beach walking like myself... but there is more ! My son Jeff (*jif3d*, here at Rendo, it helps to advertise, ooops)... he took this pic of me in 2000, then manipulated it in photo-shop and it's still one of my favourites. Just very briefly about my past... *born in East Prussia; *grew up in Berlin, West Germany; *migrated to "OZ" in 1960, (not the Wizard of Oz) but...AUSTRALIA ! I guess I was more into '2D' since early childhood, and thinking that my son Jeff may have inherited some of my artistic skills, because he translated them into '3D'. I am hooked on photography, since I discovered cameras... that's it in a nutshell. BTW - one of my fav.quotes.... ** I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is trying to please everybody !** that's a wrap... Cheers Brigitte.

Trust a cat to find the warmest spot. A lovely little capture of Monkey. I love how you keep changing your avatar. I had such a hard time getting mine in last time I have just kept the same one.

Funny, my cat is named Monkey as well- although I have no intentions of eating her! ;) Always looking for an opportune moment to catch some sleep they are- very cute capture!

They'll sleep anywhere - especially if you buy them a special bed ... Nice shot!

Oh I am glad you directed me to this pic, and she is adorable and really enjoying the warm sunshine!! How strange that she looks almost the double of a once very loved and departed cat of mine I named Cinders, because she was rescued from a coal bunker as a young 6 month kitten. So it seems that Monkey and her have something in common then indirectly if you think that a coal bunker is for fueling a fire and the barbeque also is fire linked - Hmmmmm well I think I have rabbited on enough now, but it really was great having a look at your gorgeous cat, and I am not freaked out at all, cos I know that cats will sleep almost anywhere so long as they are warm and feel safe, and Monkey is so obviously loved. love and hugs Jane xx
