Description

The Slender Bee Fly, Bombylius Toxophorinae Geron, I think. About 1/2 inch long and determined to show me his hind end instead of his face. Finally I caught him before he turned around again. Thank you very kindly for your views and comments.

He looks rather precarious stood there on those long shaky looking legs Maria, you must have plenty of patience, chasing him round and round to get the right shot. I have to agree with l8rdaze, it does look as if its all eyes and no head. I have never seen one of these before either, or I haven't noticed one. Excellent work and presentation, beautiful clarity and detail. Bravo!!!!!
