Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Fishing can be a nice day on the water or a fight of a lifetime with a beast of the sea. Protecting the eyes from glare so y9u don't have a headache and keeping yur sho0lders from getting too much sun will go a long ways towrds happy memoriies. The time out there will speak for itself anyway.

WOW! I've been away too long, and I realize just how much I missed your gallery...but ah...I'm back with catching up to do and the best way to start is right here. Great poem. Superb image! (I'll pretend not to see "Nemaean potential" in the image though.) As always, I love your casual, smile-inducing style of writing.

Gone fishin' (bah-boo-bah-boo-bah-boo-bah-boo-bah) There's a sign upon your door (pops, don't blab it around, will you?) Gone fishin' (keep it shady, I got me a big one staked out) Mmm, you ain't workin' anymore (I don't have to work, I got me a piece of gary) Cows need milkin' in the barn (I have the twins on that detail, they each take a side) But you just dont give a darn (give em four bits a cow and hand lotion) You just never seem to learn (man, you taught me) You ain't got no ambition (you're convincin' me) Gone fishin' (bah-boo-dah-do-dah-do-dah-do) Got your hound dog by your side (that's old cindy-lou goin' with me) Gone fishin' (mmm-hmm-hmm-hmm-hmm) Fleas are bitin' at his hide (get away from me boy, you bother me) And that's just part of the lyrics, Marilyn! Hope you caught something edible and untainted by pollutants.

Gone fishing, a woman after my own heart. I see that I am in the running for the artist of the month with you. I can't tell how happy I am to be in with such good company. I love your stuff. You can tell you write from the heart and I love that. I would vote for you but I am really self centered hahaha. I hope to see a picture soon of a big fish. Your friend Randy
