Description

Noted for the best salmon in the Barony of Eschellaigh, in Old Dalriada, the White River running through the parish of Cushenaigh, would often flood in the late Autumn. In olden times, wee pipes of the Wee Folk, are said to have been washed up on the river banks, safely cradled by the poplar roots. Only a mile or so from the Disappearing Loch, this stretch of the river witnesses the Glynfolk's Coracle of Light race, held on the Autumngreet Festival. While ClanRanald win the Pale Paddle many a time, they are suspected of having made a pact with the Water Folk...
