Morning all :o)
Dont you just love being near the coast ,in warm sun and a gentle breeze .Scarborough and Whitby are our two main seaside resorts which are south of where I live .Everybody heads for either of these two on nice days ,although I have come at times through the winter for a run out .This is another of Scarborough front with the castle on top of the hill .

Oh! I do like to be beside the seaside I do like to be beside the sea! I do like to stroll upon the Prom, Prom, Prom! Where the brass bands play: "Tiddely-om-pom-pom!" So just let me be beside the seaside I'll be beside myself with glee And there's lots of girls beside, I should like to be beside Beside the seaside! Beside the sea! Ahemm!! Lovely beach shot, Donkey's oh they so remind me of being a child we used to have them on a grassed area out east in Gorey and my dad used to take me and my sister for a ride on occasions as a special treat. I dont recall us ever having them on the beach here though.

Nice capture Mick, the tonal range and colours are very nice, I am sure you'll agree with me that years ago, a few more families would be on these beaches, looks quiet there now.

I have to drive over 50 miles to get to my nearest seaside Mick, living at the foot of the Pennines(the backbone of England), I am more or less in the middle of the country. I think Southport is my nearest beach, although we do have Hollingworth Lake, otherwise known as the Weavers Seaport. Excellent capture mate, I wish I had been there with you, it looks like you enjoyed some good weather, I am just about to go out for an hour, the sun is shining right now, tomorrow is forecast rain for us. I have got a new toy to play with, if it works out I will show you later. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!

I worked for a summer season in Scarborough haha 33years years ago when I was training as a chef at college. I think it was the Esplanade Hotel, 17 years old and very naive, worked hard played hard, an introduction to the temptations of life ! Good stuff! Thanks for the memories Mick!
