Description

This is the same species of Bee Fly that I posted on September 20, Bombylius major. I just had to laugh when I saw the two hind legs dangling out behind him! I don't know how he can fly without getting them caught in his wings, lol. All the sites say they are hard to approach, so I guess I was lucky. Thank you very kindly for your recent views and comments!

Both wonderful macros! That sure is funny about those legs! His wings seem to me to be somewhat oddly placed too! Good for you that you caught these!!!
