Description

This little girl and I have taken to doing this after a long day's work. While she won't eat out of my hand (yet) she will sit or lay very close or will wander around by my feet. : )

A wonderful relaxed pose, it won't be long before she does eat out of your hand, the trick is no sudden moves on your part. I don't know how you feed her but try putting some peanuts in your lap whilst sitting with her. Digitaleagle says he can't get out of the door before they are gone. The trick with that is don't go indoors, put the food out and wait, sitting quitely with your camera on your knee aimed at the food. Once they are used to your presence they will gingerly approach the food. I have been feeding squirrels in a local park for nearly twenty years, they are that used to people they come and try and steal nuts from out of your pockets. This young lady is relaxed when you are near, as I said it is only a matter of time before she will come and sit on your knee. Excellent capture, superb clarity and detail, even though she is relaxed you can see she is alert in her eyes. Bravo!!!!!

Tree rats! They are irresitable... We bought raw peanuts by mistake.... I spent most of the summer ripping out new peanut bushes!! Left a few just to see what happens.... they grow peanuts of course! ;=)
