Fantastic shot. As a writer, I'm drawn to this character and the whole setup of the shot. It's introspective, indeed...somewhat poignant. Okay, it's a Civil War reenactment, but there's something in this image that goes beyond that element of things and touches on raw, sometimes messy humanity, and that's what works so well here. You've achieved a very human, and touching capture here and into my favorites it goes!
