Description

...didn't kill the kitten, it just brought it out into the light to play =) Back to France with today's pic, and for the first time until we get it sorted with something better I'm doing today's upload via dial-up as my new place happens to fall into the 'very unlikely' category of being able to receive any decent kind of broadband =( Anyway, I'll still be able to browse galleries with some speed using computers in town so no biggie, and besdies I'm getting sidetracked...! This kitten was a relative newborn, being raised at the top of the small garden at the villa in which we were staying in southern France. The mother had made a little 'nest' of sorts among some piled-up planks of wood, in a fenced off corner of the garden, and was very protective of her littl'uns! Whenever anyone approached, she put herselves between them and her kittens, hissing and growling a bit... So a distraction was needed in order to get a decent photo of her kittens in and around their little hideout...I came back with a bowlful of cat food (we were looking after some cats which lived at the place anyway), which was eyed suspiciously before being devoured, one eye keeping a watch at all times..! I took a bunch of zoomed shots so I didn't disturb them too much, and kinda liked the playful nature and lighting to this one. One for the cute crowd I guess =) Enjoy your Sunday! Adam
