Looks like all the metal is there. Probably a six but maybe a V-8. I'll go look to see if the V-8 was only in cars. No v-8 until 1954 and the successor to this one according to http://auto.howstuffworks.com/1951-studebaker-2r5-pickup.htm

We had a Studebaker when I was young...VERY young LOL. But I'm not familiar with the truck. Wonderful shot.
