This is wonderful Lynell! And inspires me to do a collage of my old advertisements! Good luck in the playoffs!

great nostalgia shot!

Who's on deck? Did the pitcher just balk? And a consolation question. What was Joe Dimaggio's first name?

I tend to lean towards the Dodgers but then, I still refer to them as the Brooklyn Dodgers - LOL! Good luck to both teams. Nice shot and excellent postwork.

I am not a sports fan Lynell but I wish your team all the best. I would sooner watch paint dry than a football match, or most other sports. I would however look around a museum of sport, cause you never know what you are going to find there. Excellent capture, looks like someone else is interested in old things as well. I have to be because I am, an old thing that is. Enjoy the game. Bravo!!!!!

Great work and I hope you enjoy every second of the game!

Great image, I remember 5 cent baseball cards but not 1 cent. I'm a red sox fan BUT i'm also a CUBS fan, they have waited too long for a world series. So let the playoffs begin.

Great shot of the baseball cards and Chevy models, Lynell. I'm a Dodger fan, I want them to win the shortened series with the Cubs, but don't expect them to, because they played in a weak league. To answer tallpindo's question, it is: Joseph Paul DiMaggio, born Giuseppe Paolo DiMaggio, Jr.

First, if your eyes are popping out of your head, I'm doing this in this dayglo blue in honor of your consistently beautifully designed descriptions. That being said, I'm in Chicago so "Go Dodgers" could get you in some major trouble in these parts, but I won't tell anyone I know...I really liked the b&w pic, and I really like the color. It's a really exuberant shot, with those wonderful bright cars in front of those gently faded posters—a really nice slice of the past, no matter who wins. You do memorabilia really well, Lynell. Oh, and I tried to use your cropped margins, but for the life of me I can't figure out the code, and since I don't wanna close down the site (with bad code), I'll leave it alone. Go Cubs! (sorry)
