Description

It's easy to get swept along because life's always crazy busy. The grass needs mowing. The dogs need to be walked and fed. Running late and then stuck in traffic and so on and so forth. That's why it's so important to make time for breath taking, heart-stopping moments that can only be found in life's big things... Fleeting glimpses of dolphins swimming in calm gulf waters at pre dawn. Pelicans gliding across the horizon as if to announce the eminent rise of the sun. Finally, the golden arc appears at the horizon line and spills light unto water and wet sand. As grey fade to hues of red and blues I saw new colors; ones I hadn't known existed before making the world so vivid - so beautiful. Washed in this dazzling light; for a moment it's easy to believe all is well with the world. It's easy to feel open, connected and alive. If the Earth can spin eastward at harrowing speed and stay on its axis; why can't we on this rollercoaster ride called life? The moment, so vibrant in its details while we were living it, is muddled in the telling and sharing but I have no complaints, really. Looking at the silhouetted photographer I can't help but smile and feel blessed beyond measure. Thanks for stopping by. Make it a great day!
