This is what I so often see when I open the curtains to my bedroom in the morning.
I feel blessed. :)
The quality of this shot is not the best, because I take it from long distance.

full-size, this actually radiates. You got lots of detail, and with the lighting it all shimmers in an early morning glow. And what a scene to wake up to! I wake up to high-rises over a huge lake, but deer between two bushes on a hilly ridge? Haven't woken up to that in years. It's beautiful Helle. And the autumn colors dapple your shot as if it were multi-colored fur. Very restful and autumnal. It's a beautiful ridge too.

You are lucky to observe such adorable scene just near our house! Don't feel ashamed that it's not pinpoint sharp, it's always difficult to get pinpoint sharp pictures of distant wild animals except if you have a very powerful and high quality telephoto. After that, to buy or not this device depends of your interest for distant subjects. A telephoto may serve to obtain very close portraits or architectural details too…
