Description

Good evening to all! Thunder, lightning - or a tournado? This was the question in this summer in Berlin. And it was a paradise for photographers, too! Dangerous atmosphere at one day, giantic cloud mountains at another - a climate changing is not only a bad thing, it seems.... Pic was taken at August 18th, 2008 with Nikon Coolpix, my beloved "girls camera" LOL. This is the begin of a new series of my "Unknown Berlin" Pics: Mostly without words, no locations, because its titled "unknown" and a bigger pics` format for a better view on great desktops. I guarantee that every pic in this row is taken originally in Berlin. I hope you enjoy the first here. Tomorrow I start to a short vacation and will be back in one week. Thanks for your interest, your comments and your time spending in my pics. Goodbye, have a nice weekend! billcody, Berlin

I love the ominous overtones in this shot; the dark water, the clouds and the deep shadows under the trees. Very beautiful!

I like the narural frame of the tree in this shot Wolfgang, I feel sad about the boat, covered in gaffiti, it has seen better days. With a lot of tlc it could be brought back to life maybe. The top deck reminds me of a greenhouse, maybe it was once a tour/water bus? Now left to rot, to be used by the dregs of society as a place to meet? Take it away and you are left with what looks like an urban landscape, a park, to walk in, to feed the ducks on the water, a place to let the chidren play. This 'Unknown Berlin #51' is a very intriguing image my friend, I like it very much. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!
